Customer's reviews
In a very tough situation, a dilemma brought about chiefly by a very competitive real estate market, Mr. Olmstead very correctly chose to fulfill his legal obligation and fiduciary duty to his clients. Simply put, he did his job and put the best interests of his clients first above all else. He is loyal, professional, affable, patient, and of the very highest character. He goes way above and beyond as a matter of course, and is an outstanding credit to his profession. If you want the best, go see Allen Olmstead and his most excellent team. He and his team are, undeniably, the very best!

I can't recommend Allen and his team at Canaan Realty highly enough to anyone looking to buy property in NY! As out of state buyers, we relied on the team to help identify and screen properties and guide us through the unique process of purchasing real estate in NY. Allen offered thoughtful, honest insights and expert advice during the property search as well as the contract negotiations. Each and every team member provided prompt and professional communication, research, and assistance. Smart, talented, experienced, and kind people who work seamlessly as a team - you can't ask for more than that! It was an absolute pleasure to work with this top-notch group.

Allen Olmsted is the best Real Estate Broker I have ever worked with! I have purchased and sold multiple residential and undeveloped land parcels in several states. Allen leads an excellent Real Estate team. Especially notable among key staff I have worked with is Samantha Leader. Grace Roberts and Isaac Olmsted were also very helpful with selling a farm I owned. Allen and Samantha were recently very responsive in assisting me with finding a home to rent. My choice will be Canaan Realty whenever I want help buying or selling real estate property!
